Review: The Sound of Music is a fascinating music that stands above other films of the genre, because interesting characters, good direction, and really inspired the script. Julie Andrews (Oscar) star as a young nun who leaves the convent to become a governess large family. He immediately contradicts young father (Christopher Plummer), but they quickly fall in love and get married. But evil forces lurk overhead as the Nazis invade their homeland of Austria. Somehow based on a true story, The Sound of Music is one of those rare Musical works, because it is the fear and drama films final act of meaning. This makes the film believable and none of the musical numbers take away from the story or film direction. 5 stars out of 5.
